36ixty5 days of photography by Mike Drummond
On escaping the sodium and tungsten encased envelope of suburbia the sky became alive within minutes of leaving the car. After eventually getting my bearings and a few shots down the line, last night came up trumps with this shot of the pole star.
Wow! this is awesome. A fantastic and beautiful shot. 🙂
cheers inga, another one where my toes suffered, but was worth the frostbite. thanks again
oh! that’s interesting! how to make that circle?
The circle is the earth spinning on its axis, the centre point in the sky is the pole star ‘polaris’ so the earth spins roughly around that point.
it sounds easy but i guess im just not smart enough to understand it, lool
Wow! I love this kind of photos (I must try this)
What’s the structure?
Congratulations, amazing result!
Love this dizzle.
Cheers Jack, Im gonna try and head out again this evening and get a longer one. possibly an hour or 2
