Why 36ixty5?

This blog has

1. been created to keep my thumbs and fingers busy in between work and play.

2. to further spread my images across the world.

3. share my work and find more people with same passion that i have.

Each day a new image will be uploaded with a small caption, phrase, quote, poem or whatever.

Every image will be different, it may have been shot on the day or may have been picked out from my archives.

I hope you enjoy following the blog, or if you happen to stumble across it…. Hello.

I have work elsewhere online here…

  1. Excellent photography, and very refreshing to the eye. Just one little thing… In your holiday greeting, you used “your” instead of “you’re” a number of times. No fine, no penalty, it’s the holiday season and that picture of the Fosters tap is a serious feel-good. Cheers! (no apostrophe) =)

    • haha, thanks. I did notice that actually. but i thought it was innocent enough for it to go unnoticed, ah well.

Glad you like the work in any case, and glad you’re not pressing charges over the grammar. πŸ™‚

    • Hi!

      Thank you soo much.

Appreciate the award and attention! I’ll make sure to pass it on, and continue on the attention.

Will start scouring blogs and get sending!

    • Hiya Joanna, thanks for the follow, hope your h20 project goes well over the year. Loving the iced water bottle. ill be following too. Take Care, Mike πŸ™‚

  3. just point and shoot.the old one i have is NiKon coolpix. its nice with sceneries, but not good at shooting people i think. so looking for a new one. if not a point and shoot, it must be light. and i’m not professional, you know. πŸ˜€

  4. hey Mike, i’ve done some investigations but i’m a bit stuck with the following two parameters’ combinations while other parameters are quite similar including price. would you mind sharing any tips again? πŸ˜€

    F3.3-5.9, 24-350mm, shutter speed 1/3200
    F2.2-5.9, 24-105 or 120, shutter speed 1/2000

    • Wicked, well if your looking to use a zoom that long, Make sure it is ‘optical zoom’ and not digital. As this will bring down the quality of image dramatically. and to be honest your better going with the faster f2.2-5.9 just because its slightly faster. I wouldnt have thought you will be using 1/3200 or 1/2000 all that often.
      Hope that helps

  5. that’s the optical. but i guess i wouldnt use that long often. then i probably go for F2.2 according to your input.. mmm.. camera is damn complex! lool, and great thanks!

  6. Hi! First off, I love all of your pictures and the perspective you show with each new post. I think you’re a wonderful photographer! Second, I am nominating you for the Liebster blog award. I’ll be making the post tomorrow morning. Keep up the great work, I look forward to the photos you’ll post in the future!!

  7. Excellent work – love the shots. Did you have much turmoil over deciding which WordPress theme to use? I like the choice you made, and the image size is striking.
